What we collect from laundromat and wash-dry-fold customers, how we use it, and your choices — including the text-message program.
Information we collect
When you drop off laundry or set up an account, we may collect your name, mobile phone number, email address, mailing address (for pickup and delivery customers), your laundry preferences and order history, the payment information needed to process a payment and, if you choose to keep a card on file, a secure token issued by our payment processor in place of your card number. We do not store full card numbers. Our website does not use advertising cookies or trackers.
How we use it
- To process your orders and payments and to let you know when your laundry is ready.
- To send the receipts, statements and order notifications you have asked for, by text or email.
- To answer your questions and resolve problems with an order.
- To keep the records required for accounting and tax purposes.
Text messages (SMS)
If you give us your mobile number and agree at the counter, we send transactional texts: one message when an order is ready for pickup (or ready and charged to your card on file) and one confirmation text when you sign up. We do not send marketing or promotional texts. Message frequency depends on your orders — one text per finished order. Message and data rates may apply. Opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message or by telling us at the counter; reply HELP for help, or call (432) 332-9400.
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or mobile number with third parties for marketing purposes. Mobile opt-in information is used only to send the messages described above.
Who we share information with
Only the service providers that help us run the business, and only for that purpose: our payment processor (to process card payments and hold card tokens), our messaging provider (to deliver texts) and our email provider (to deliver receipts and statements). They may not use your information for their own marketing. We may also disclose information when required by law.
How long we keep it
Order, payment and account records are kept as long as needed to serve you and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. You may ask us to delete your contact details at any time; records we must keep by law are retained accordingly.
Security
Customer records live on store systems that only our staff can reach, protected by individual sign-ins. Card data is handled by our payment processor's certified systems and is never stored on our equipment.
Your choices
You can decline text or email notifications, change your contact details, opt out of texts by replying STOP, or ask us to remove your information — at the counter, by calling (432) 332-9400 or by emailing info@superwashtx.com.
Changes
If we change this policy we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
